We thought C had a new tooth coming in, but we were wrong. If you wipe away all the drool and get him to hold still long enough, you can see three teeth breaking through.

This round of teething has made him a little unhappy, so we bought some infant Orajel. It numbs the pain, but all the numbing of the lips and gums just leads to more… drool. Poor little C.

   Take this for what it is worth - a doctor once told me that when you put orajel on it - that just makes the gum tougher and it makes it more painful for the little guy. She suggested a frozen wet wash cloth and let him chew on it. That worked with my two. Just an alternative……

   You should be getting a “thank-you-in-advance” note soon from the SIO (Society of Indigent Orthodontists). Remind the boy not to run in church.
