Since Troy isn’t playing this weekend, you could head over to the Kentuck Art Festival. It’s supposed to be big this year and Pop Goes the City has highlighted some of the cool print artists that will be there.

Also, this weekend is the Birmingham Junior League’s “The Market” at the BJCC.

And if you’re one of the unfortunate ones unable to make Troy’s Homecoming, the weekend of November 4th, you can head down into Hoover for the Moss Rock Festival. It’s a new outdoor event near a great hike featured in 60 Hikes within 60 Miles: Birmingham.

    Being from Tuscaloosa, I have gone to the Kentuck Festival many times. If you get the chance it is really worth checking out! It has great art, music and food. It is in the beautiful and historic part of downtown Northport.
