Rock and… Rock and… Rock and… Roll!
For the past week or so Cullen has been trying to rollover. He starts out on his back, rocks up on one side, wiggles a little bit and falls back to his backside. This maneuver reapeats a few dozen times until he gets frustrated.
He never could get over the last hurdle, his shoulder.

But all that changed yesterday…
He made it all the way over to his tummy twice! The first time was early in the morning, when B & C were playing, in the floor, before leaving for work. The second was on the floor here, at T’s work.

If you’ve met Cullen, then you know he’s not a fan of “tummy time”. Which, I imagine, is why he always seems surprised and eventually VERY unhappy with where his newly acquired acrobatic skill lands him.
All that effort just to wind up stuck on your tummy and having to use neck muscles… poor guy.
On a side note, it looks like Cullen is going to be a skydiver. Whenever he is tummy-side-down, his hands and feet shoot up off the ground (as you can kind of see in the picture above), just like you’re supposed to do for a “stable freefall position”.
Or maybe he just thinks the floor is dirty.
We once knew a little baby boy who did the exact same skydiver pose and I have pictures to prove it.
Love you, mean it.
