Look what we brought home!

People have been telling me that “having a baby will change your life”. What they meant was “once you have a baby you’ll only have 5 minutes a day to do anything non-child related.”
But, I have managed to get three new galleries posted. You’ll see docs, nurses, friends, family, open eyes, a mop of hair, little fingers and monkey toes. You can check them out here, here and here. And yes, some are a bit blurry. Needless to say dad was a bit excited that day and couldn’t keep the camera still.
Friday, we battled nurses and their “patient discharge procedures” all morning. But by mid-afternoon we arose victorious and I had my little family safe at home. Cullen is still figuring out this whole “eating thing”. I think he misses the ease of the 24/7 umbilical buffet.
But he and mom are doing fine. So I guess we’ll keep him around. In fact, when Cullen was barely 30 seconds old, he marked me as his, from about two feet away. We hadn’t even met and he had already wet on me… and it’s only getting better!
Thanks to everyone for all the cards, emails and visits. Having a child is definitely overwhelming. But knowing so many folks are thinking about us just makes all of this that much more fun!
Welcome Cullen! He’s gorgeous and gonna be tall, we’re betting. Congratulations. We’re glad he finally decided to make his debut.
